Colorful cozies brighten snowy sidewalks
Creative cozies hugging trees in downtown Columbus have injected a shot of color into late February’s dull winter days.
The cozies, knitted by area residents, cover trees along Washington Street as part of a Columbus Area Arts Council project. You can see them all and vote for your favorite one here.
Patriotic, seasonal or abstract in theme, the cozies will stay for about eight weeks.
The public can vote for their favorite cozy at therepublic.com through March 22. Winners will receive a $1,000 donation to their charity of choice.
